On Dyscalculia

I have mentioned before that I should talk more about this, but I haven’t had the time to really think on what I would say. Instead, I’m posting what seems to be a good and comprehensive introduction for those curious on this: Dyscalculia.

Suffice to say, I am 98% certain I have it. I’ll expound upon the many reasons why I am convinced this is the case another time. At present, I am looking for any information on testing to validate (I suspect, unfortunately, that it either doesn’t truly exist at present OR it would involve the horridly expensive brain scans or monitoring to demonstrate sub-par activity in the affected brain areas).

My personal theory at the moment is that the ridiculous (and obvious) over-development of my verbal and linguistic skills has either contributed to or actively exacerbates things.

More as I find it.
