This isn’t the first such story I’ve run across (and actually, the article itself references THREE), but it certainly seems that PayPal is happy to bilk their customers on behalf of the credit card industry… slamming accounts into ice without so much as a serious look it seems toward the situation or the credibility of those involved.
This latest mess froze accounts of a company producing a collectible book and sending the proceeds to Alzheimer’s research.
Awesome work, there PayPal… what will you do next, rob grannies selling their crochet if it actually gets to be popular?
Someone needs to see about getting some real fraud detection analysis going in that company, before they kill themselves trying to avoid a spat with their credit card and banking overlords.
