“vivere militare est” – Michel de Montaigne
A human is a snip of organic code, seeking a means by which to pair and produce a complete program, that may emerge to one day do the same.
From within this nucleus, a nacre and pearl in harmonious context, all echoes are stultifying loud.
Regardless domain, when you find a human chosing to harden against empathy, you are looking at a human in the process of self-flagging crisis.
The unfortunate and oft volatile transition of that shell’s figurative plosion (whether ex or im) in turn hardens communities against empathy, too.
As might be expected, this ripple effect across markets and geolocation/space can be modeled using the deceptively “simplistic” (heh) algorithims currently emerging into view now that we have eyes capable of seeing them. The effectiveness of our relatedness are under attack not only by ourselves, but by our environment.
Those of us channeling that which cannot fully catalogued and defined, that which is hardest to convey, are shunted aside as perceived “disposable” human talents; to be resumed only within the silence of a secured perimeter – the dopamine sex machine calmly producing according to the algorithm in its being – the fertilizer festival of emergent consciousness – from which any and all coding that best assures, literally, its legacy and our future.
To what end? How do you yet need ask?
Into crafting and extruding a competitively advantageous gene pool (i.e., diverse) benefitting the species as an entirety.
The ultimate relatedness.
So you can imagine, I hope, the sheer state of verklempt found in being summarily usurped in the name of the one activity that is known to best assure a pervasive sense of UN-relatedness in ourselves: Territorialism.
So you can imagine, I hope, the sheer state of despair found in being summarily usurped in the name of the one activity that is known to best assure a pervasive sense of UN-relatedness in ourselves: Corporatism (as recursion on the territorial theme in economy).
So you can imagine, I hope, the sheer state of frustration found in being summarily usurped in the name of the one activity that is known to best assure a pervasive sense of UN-relatedness in ourselves: Nationalism (as recursion on the territorial theme in geography).
So you can imagine, I hope, the sheer state of irony found in being able to use the broadest brush available to paint the human reality writ so large, while simultaneously indicting the last and worst offender: Egalitarianism (as an inversion of the recursion on the territorial theme in society – last bastion of the academics, artisans, and adherents struggling to maintain or retain their marginalized relatedness a la “4D Chess”).
The sole and exceedingly cold comfort? The system is self-sustaining; ultimate code corruption is also the emergence of the stabilizing anomoly.
Or, as pop culture has succinctly put it, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end…”
