I just posted this elsewhere and it occurred to me that I should log it here for future reference and possible exposition:
I have tried quite rigorously to come up with something helpful about labels and the nature of distinction between humans; at the end of the day, I always come back to, “Labels are divisive by nature; therefore, a mind that seeks unity and harmony must eschew them.” I do not find the effort easy, but it is, I think, worthwhile.
Not much more in this moment; it’s not as if this is a new thought for me, but it’s currently resonating as if I have significantly more to say…. so, dropping the marker and will return to it when it feels like it’s time to do so.
